Pelican sightings in Central Illinois – on Lake Springfield _________________________________________________________

Jan 5 Sat       – 1 bird at 4pm – Sugar Creek Cove, just SW of GMS.

Jan 6 Sun      – 50 birds at 130pm – at Marine Point on Bay Island

Jan 7 Mon     – 1 bird at 5pm – Sugar Creek Cove, just SW of GMS.

Jan 21 Mon   – 30 birds at 830am  – in sheltered cove SW of CWLP power plant

Feb 1 Fri         – 20 birds at 800am  – in sheltered cove SW of CWLP power plant

Mar 16 Sat    – 15 birds at 1230pm  – in sheltered cove SW of CWLP power plant

Mar 23 Sat    – 5 birds at 6pm – Sugar Creek Cove, just SE of GMS

Mar 24 Sun   – 5 birds at 230pm – Sugar Creek Cove, just SE of GMS
